Christine first began writing at the age of 9, taking inspiration from her favourite reading material. If a
birthday party wasn't to her taste, she could be found under a bed, or in the cupboard under the stairs, with a torch and whatever book or comic she could find in her host's bookcase.
At age 11, Christine was awarded the Girl Guides Writer's Badge, and she was encouraged to continue writing by the Tester, a professional writer and poet.
Short stories and articles for children's magazines followed, with explorations into poetry and competition entries.
In 1999, Christine was commissioned by Hodder and Stoughton to write a book for their famous "Teach Yourself" imprint. Titled "Planning a Wedding", this book has now been updated and re-published as "Planning Your Perfect Wedding", an indespensible little book for any couple who want a traditional style wedding ceremony.
Christine's next project, as well as continuing to write for magazines and her own pleasure, was the novel "Charity Begins", which is based on her 7 years working for the retail divisions of large charities.
Christine continues to study and write, is a member of the Freelance Writer's Association and teaches writing skills.
She lives in Shropshire with her partner, the golf-loving David
